Mission and Purpose
Our Mission is to plan and host events or activities that help raise money to support academic experiences that enrich student's educational experiences and enhance parent's involvement with their children's education.
The primary purpose of the Parent Club is to create a sense of community among parents with a shared focus on supporting our children with their educational and extracurricular activities.
The purpose of the Parent Club is to:
- Promote the welfare of the students attending Rio Vista Elementary School.
- Stimulate communication and collaboration among parents, students, and school staff.
- Fundraise to support Rio Vistas academic programs and extracurricular activities
- Sponsor activities that support children to thrive and boost their social interaction and educational experience while attending Rio Vista Elementary School.
The Rio Vista Parent Club volunteers work in concert with the school's administration to host special events and provide valuable volunteer time to support students, faculty, and staff through various inspiring and enriching activities.
Parent Club Meetings
The Rio Vista Parent Club meetings are held monthly, the first Wednesday of the month at 5:00pm-6:00pm, and /or as needed throughout the year, typically in the conference room or staff lounge. All parents and guardians are strongly encouraged to participate. Attendance provides parents with valuable information about upcoming school events and volunteer opportunities.
