Read Across America / Dia de leer a través de América

Today we celebrate literature by joining in our anual Read Across America Day.  We will have wonderful guest at our school during the day to help read to your student.  The love of reading starts at an early age, today you can follow up at home by asking your child questions when they arrive home as to what they did at school. You can asked them who came to read to them in class, what book was read to them, or if they have a book they'd like to read to you.  You can also go through your home library and take a turn reading a book to the family and having them be the special guest. We always encourage you to take a trip to your local library and open an account to be able to check out books with your child.

Estimadas familias de Rio Vista,

El dia de hoy celebramos la literatura al unirnos a el Dia de lectura en todo América. Tendremos varios invitados maravillosos en nuestra escuela durante el día para ayudar a leer a su estudiante.  El amor a la lectura empieza a una edad temprana, hoy puede seguir en casa haciéndole  preguntas a su hijo/a sobre lo que hizo en la escuela.  Puede preguntarles quien vino a leeres en clase que libro se les leyó o si ellos tiene un libro que les gustaría leer.  Si tiene libros el la casa pueden turnarse leyendo unos a otros y dejar que ellos sean el lector special.  Si ustedes gustan pueden ir como familia a la biblioteca local para abrir una cuenta y pedir libros prestados.  

Esperamos que su niño/a disfrute este evento.
